Toys for Tats ® once again is a huge hit this year. People have a chance to do their part in helping provide less fortunate families toys for the Christmas holiday and in return Atomic Tattoos is giving them a $20 gift certificate off of their next tattoo or piercing. This event is getting so popular that even the local new stations are helping spread the word. Here is a what WTSP Channel 10 in Tampa recently reported on.

Recently the Milwaukee Community Journal published this article that discusses local charities in their area, and highlighted the Toys for Tats ® event which is serving the less fortunate youth in the Milwaukee area.
Looking out for Milwaukeean’s less fortunate youth, locally-owned Atomic Tattoos partnered with the Marine Corp’s Toys for Tots program to create the "Toys for Tats" promotion.
Kicking off their annual Toys for Tats program, Sam Bielinski, owner of Atomic Tattoos in Milwaukee, encouraged customers to bring in a new, unwrapped toy with a value of $5 or more for less fortunate youth. In exchange for the donation, customers received a $20 gift certificate good for future tattoo or piercing services.
All of the toys are collected and given to the US Marine Corp’s Toys for Tots program, which in return distributes the toys to local Milwaukee families in need.
Belienski said annually his shops collect between 100 to 250 toys per shop and over the five years of the partnership, Atomic Tattoos has donated nearly $60,000 in toys to local children in the Milwaukee and Tampa, Florida areas.
"(Toys for Tats) is getting bigger every year; it’s growing." Bielinski said. "The more locations that I open, the more I’ll (be able to) spread it through the whole city."
"We’re a community-based shop, we’re locally-owned and all of our artists are local," he said, "so giving back to our community is so important."
