I was born, nearly thirty years ago, in the oil fields of west Texas. My parents are hard working and loving. They constantly were sacrificing and nurturing my artistic talent. The priceless help from my folks, combined with a little talent, made me an artist at a young age. As a child I won many art awards, in many different mediums, on local, state, and national stages. As an art kid school was rough for me, but I made it and was in the last graduating class of the twentieth century. With high school behind me I spent two years at a community college working on an associate’s degree in design. From here I had many offers in a variety of specialties within the art industry. Simply put, I chose tattooing because it is the most challenging art medium I have ever encountered. My time as an apprentice was spent in the hill country of Texas. I learned tattooing from a pair of ex-hells angels, one of which had been tattooing for over forty years before he taught me a thing. After working in Texas for five years, with tattoo machine in hand, my wife and I moved to Florida. Just to work here for Atomic tattoos and piercings! Atomic is a company owned by tattoo artists, run by tattoo artists, for tattoo artists. I could not be happier! Now working with one of the most talented and professional crews I have ever meet in this industry. I am looking forward to the years to come, with the challenges, the learning, and the art. Mostly the art, I have many influences, and have worked with countless artistic styles. I am always looking for the next cool challenge. So come on in, check it all out, get a kick ass tattoo, you can find me at the Atomic tattoos inside the Florida mall (right outside of Sears). So, bring a good challenge or an original idea with you when you come in, just don’t ask me my favorite style to tattoo… I don’t have one…
